Conditions of Employment

Upon completion of the interview and trial process, Regent Brothers Limited t/a Toulouse Lautrec will provide you with essential safety and occupational training at no cost to you. If you decide to discontinue your employment, you are required to give notice in writing as follows:
Up to and including one month: Seven (7) Days Notice
After One Month: Fourteen (14) Days Notice

Failure to fulfill your notice period can cause significant disruption to the company and result in additional costs for securing emergency resources.

This condition is not intended to penalise you for not working your notice period but rather to recover expenses incurred as a direct result of failure to work the notice period or for unauthorised absences. Therefore, it will be in your interest to actively communicate with management to find a solution to minimise both the disruption to the business and any associated costs.

Expenses typically include renewing recruitment ads, retraining costs and emergency staff agency commission. We pre-estimate losses to be between £100-£200 per day. However, management will have discretion over how much of these costs the company is willing absorb to minimise impact on your salary. If the amount we seek in damages exceeds your final pay (inc holiday pay) you will be ask cover these costs.
