Gypsy Dynamite is an acoustic guitar duo rooted in the tradition of Django Reinhardt, fusing the fire of Gypsy Swing with influences from Italian jazz, classical music, and rock. Formed in London in 2011, the project began when two guitarists crossed paths and immediately recognised a rare musical connection.

Over the past fifteen years, Gypsy Dynamite has built a reputation across Europe and beyond for live shows that are virtuosic, visceral, spontaneous, and deeply interactive. The heart of the project has always been the chemistry between two musicians who know each other’s playing instinctively.

For this 15th Anniversary performance, Gypsy Dynamite returns with a special live set celebrating fifteen years of partnership, perseverance, and music. Featuring brand-new material alongside the energy and fire that define their sound, this show marks a new chapter for one of the UK’s distinctive acoustic Gypsy Jazz projects.

Gypsy Dynamite is an acoustic Gypsy Jazz guitar duo formed in London by Filippo Dall’Asta and Giulio Romano Malaisi. The project brings together Django Reinhardt-inspired swing, Italian and Spanish musical influences, virtuosic acoustic guitar playing, and fresh arrangements of classic repertoire.
