Charismatic trumpeter and vocalist Sam Chaplin leads his all-star jazz quartet through the music of Ray Charles, Nat King Cole and Chet Baker, alongside his own songs filled with warmth, humanity and humour.

Moving between soulful ballads, swinging favourites and lively audience singalongs, the quartet brings together four accomplished musicians for an evening of outstanding jazz, engaging storytelling and genuine entertainment.

About Sam Chaplin

Sam Chaplin has performed at jazz venues across London and alongside celebrated musicians including Kenny Wheeler, Norma Winstone and Bobby McFerrin. He has worked with the members of this quartet for two decades, appearing together at shows and events around the world, including Monaco, Paris and Dubai.

Away from the stage, Sam presents concerts at the Royal College of Music and directs choirs. He previously led the London branch of Choir With No Name, supporting people affected by homelessness, and runs songwriting workshops in schools and prisons.
