Led by London-based singer, guitarist and songwriter Henry Kimber, The Henry Kimber Band brings together the sounds of vintage blues, soul and funk with a fresh, contemporary edge.
Known for energetic live performances and free-flowing improvisation, the trio combines original songwriting with the raw spirit and spontaneity of the music that inspires them. Their debut album, Forever And A Day, released in 2024, introduced a collection of original material rooted in blues and soul while drawing on the chemistry of the band’s live sound.
Join them at Toulouse Lautrec for a night of original music, deep grooves and blues-driven guitar from three accomplished musicians.
About The Henry Kimber Band
Henry Kimber is a British singer, guitarist and songwriter whose musical career began as a chorister at Chichester Cathedral. Alongside his classical training, he developed a love of guitar through his parents’ record collection of blues, rock and jazz.
Today, Henry works across both classical and contemporary music. As a classical singer, he has performed throughout Europe as well as in the USA and China, and recently made his operatic debut with Hampstead Garden Opera. As a guitarist, alongside leading his own band, he has established himself as a sideman on London’s roots music scene.
Costa Tancredi is an electric and upright bassist who has been active on the London music scene since 2003. A Middlesex University jazz graduate, he has shared the stage with artists including Eric Clapton, Pee Wee Ellis, Amy Winehouse, Eliza Doolittle, Jon Cleary and Ian Siegal, and has performed across Europe, the USA, South Asia and Africa.
Felipe Drago is a Brazilian drummer, educator and recording musician whose career has taken him across Brazil, the USA and the UK. A graduate of the Percussion Institute of Technology, he has held senior teaching positions in both the USA and Brazil, written two Play The Drums books and contributed to Modern Drummer Brazil.
