Swing into Christmas with The Victoria Bass Trio for a festive journey through jazz, swing and popular music, from the 1920s through to the present day.
Led by vocalist Victoria Bass, the trio celebrates the great singers and songs of the swing era, drawing on the music of Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Doris Day and Nat King Cole. Expect much-loved standards alongside Christmas favourites, all performed with a distinctly vintage feel.
Victoria is joined by Daniel Criscuolo on guitar and guest vocals and Pete Thomas on upright bass, creating an intimate trio sound perfectly suited to an evening of classic jazz and Christmas nostalgia. Join us for a warm and stylish night of swing as Christmas draws near.
About The Trio
Victoria Bass – Vocals
Victoria Bass is a jazz vocalist whose sound draws strongly from the great singers of the swing era. Over the past decade, she has performed at venues across the UK and internationally, including as lead vocalist with touring vocal group The Satin Dollz and as a guest vocalist in theatre productions and with numerous bands.
She has also performed at sea as a guest entertainer and was resident jazz vocalist aboard Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas. She now brings her love of vintage jazz to her own trio.
Daniel Criscuolo – Guitar & Guest Vocals
Daniel Criscuolo is a guitarist with a particular love for vintage music and old-school sounds. He has toured as lead guitarist with Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox and has more than ten years of international touring experience across theatre shows and bands, alongside appearances as a guest entertainer at sea.
Pete Thomas – Upright Bass
Pete Thomas is an upright bassist whose musical interests span gypsy jazz, folk, bluegrass and rhythm and blues. His work has taken him across the UK and Europe, with gypsy jazz credits including performances with Angelo Debarre, Stochelo Rosenberg, Mozes Rosenberg, Gonzalo Bergara and Adrien Marco.
