Step into the dining car of the world’s most glamorous train and journey into the golden age of jazz with The Hot Jazz Vagabonds. Popular 1930s jazz, European song and irresistible swing unfold as the train glides from one glittering station to the next, each stop revealing colourful characters, musical surprises and a playful nod to Agatha Christie–style intrigue.

Starring Airlie Scott with the Hot Jazz Vagabonds, David Ahmed and Andy Ruiz Palma (guitars), Alan Gibson (double bass) and Pete Watson (accordion), this brand-new show comes from the creators of the 5★ Edinburgh Fringe hit Paris in a Jazz Age: The Memoirs of Eloise DeFleur.

About The Hot Jazz Vagabonds

The Hot Jazz Vagabonds are a London-based vintage jazz ensemble celebrating the sounds of the 1920s–40s, blending gypsy jazz, swing and French chanson.

Led by vocalist Airlie Scott (Pronto Swing, Mardi Gras), the band features versatile guitarist Andy Ruiz Palma (La Bouche Manouche), hot-club guitarist David Ahmed (Hot Club de Londres, Quecumbar Allstars, Café Marama Band), acclaimed bassist Alan Gibson (Soul Immigrants), and the melodic, atmospheric accordion of Pete Watson (Marama Café Band).

Members of the band have performed at leading venues and festivals including Ronnie Scott’s, Glastonbury Festival, Brasserie Zédel, Crazy Coqs, Café de Paris, the Bull’s Head Barnes, the Royal National Theatre, Paris L’Olympia, Twinwood Festival and Django in the Bay, bringing authentic vintage swing to audiences across the UK and Europe.
