Mark your calendar each month as Toulouse Lautrec Jazz Club comes alive with the raw, soulful sound of the blues. Our monthly Blues Jam invites musicians and singers of all levels to bring their instrument or voice and join a top-class house band for a night of deep grooves, heartfelt vocals and classic blues energy.

The evening kicks off with a short opening set from the house band before opening the floor to guest musicians. Whether you’re here to play or just soak up the atmosphere, this is a welcoming, community-driven night celebrating the blues in all its forms.

The evening is hosted by Jimmy Regal and the Royals, one of the UK’s most exciting contemporary blues bands. Led by acclaimed harmonica player and vocalist Joff Watkins, the group delivers a powerful blend of gritty Chicago blues, swampy grooves and soulful rhythm & blues, combining deep respect for tradition with a modern edge. Known for their raw energy and electrifying live performances, the band brings serious musical firepower to the stage, with Watkins — a highly regarded harmonica player, session musician and educator — at the heart of their unmistakable sound.
