About London Gay Big Band

Founded in 2011, the London Gay Big Band is a dynamic collective of predominantly LGBTQ+ musicians and vocalists, renowned for its distinctive combination of outstanding musicianship, infectious energy and inclusive celebration.

The ensemble has performed at some of London’s most iconic venues and events, including Ronnie Scott’s, BST Hyde Park, Southbank Centre, Roundhouse, Hackney Empire and Trafalgar Square for Pride in London. Its appearances also include BT London Live during the London 2012 Olympic Games, alongside performances internationally.

For this intimate EFG London Jazz Festival special, LGBB presents its Limited Edition seven-piece band and vocalist Sejal, capturing the spirit and sound of the full ensemble through a varied repertoire spanning jazz, soul, swing, musical theatre and much more.

About Sejal

Sejal Keshwala is a professional actress, songwriter, session vocalist and concert artist living in London. She is the co-founder and Musical Director of Divalution, a musical group of three vocalists who travel the world singing pop, soul and musical theatre in their own style. In 2018, she wrote and sang Light Up The Room Superdrug “Feel Good” Marie Curie campaign.
