Join us for Mike King’s Vocal Performance Showcase, a special afternoon of live music celebrating the singers and artists who have taken part in his vocal workshop, Supportive Platform to Nurture Singing Skills.

Led by one of the UK’s most respected vocal coaches, whose career includes work on The Voice UK, large-scale vocal projects at Wembley Arena, and collaborations with internationally acclaimed artists, this showcase offers performers a warm, professional platform to share their voices with an audience.

The afternoon brings together a selected group of singers and artists for a varied programme of songs, styles and individual performances. Each artist steps onto the stage to develop their confidence, connect with listeners and celebrate the joy of live performance in a supportive and encouraging setting.

Designed as both a platform and a celebration, the event reflects Mike King’s long-standing passion for helping singers find their voice, grow as performers and sing with authenticity.

About Mike King

With an impressive career spanning nearly two decades in the music industry, Mike King has established himself as one of the UK’s most respected vocal coaches, choir directors and music educators.

His work includes serving as a vocal coach on The Voice UK for the BBC, orchestrating a record-breaking performance with 5,000 singers at Wembley Arena, and directing choirs across the globe. He has also lectured at Goldsmiths, University of London for 12 years, alongside guest vocal tutor roles at the University of East London and London Metropolitan University.

Throughout his career, Mike has worked with a wide range of artists and internationally acclaimed names, including Angelique Kidjo, Jeff Bhasker, Mark Ronson, Boy George, Lily Allen and Florence Welch.

Driven by a passion for connection, confidence and unity through song, Mike’s work spans artist development, community choirs, charitable projects and large-scale vocal performances. Whether guiding an individual singer or leading a room full of voices, his gift lies in helping performers unlock their potential and create powerful, memorable musical moments.
