Celebrating the release of their new EP, Girl Facing South, the quartet will perform a vibrant selection of original compositions alongside fresh interpretations of contemporary jazz and fusion favourites.

Expect catchy melodies, intricate rhythms and deep, soulful grooves, all shaped by the group’s distinctive West Coast influence. About Migdalia van der Hoven

Migdalia van der Hoven is a Mexican-British drummer, composer and bandleader celebrated for her expressive playing, musical versatility and commanding stage presence.

A graduate of Berklee College of Music, she has performed internationally alongside artists and ensembles including YolanDa Brown OBE, The Kingdom Choir and The All Souls Orchestra.

Migdalia is also an accomplished West End musician, with theatre credits including SIX the Musical, Little Shop of Horrors and productions with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Through her bold original music and energising live performances, she continues to develop a signature sound that is tight, soulful and rhythmically adventurous.
