About Axel Kaner-Lidstrom

A rising force on the UK jazz scene, Axel Kaner-Lidstrom is a trumpeter, composer and bandleader with a deep-rooted connection to the tradition. A graduate of Tomorrow’s Warriors and Trinity Laban Conservatoire, he has collaborated with acclaimed artists including Gary Bartz and toured internationally with Celeste, performing at major stages such as Glastonbury Festival and Philharmonie de Paris. His playing blends technical brilliance with expressive storytelling, making him one of the most exciting young voices in British jazz today.
