ArchiPol is a refreshing and exciting addition to the world of French ‘chanson’ with his timeless appearance and custom-made Toile de Jouy suit. If you think, by looking at him, that he’s a dull wallflower, wait until you hear his music. ArchiPol is a unique singer-songwriter who skilfully dissects human nature with a tender, biting, and mocking tone.

A graduate of the prestigious Royal College of Music in London, ArchiPol possesses a solid musical background. What sets him apart is his ability to effortlessly embody a very British delivery—cool, funny, sarcastic, and deadpan all at once.

In 2023, ArchiPol returns with a new opus, signalling the start of a new chapter in his music. He will be embarking on a European tour, visiting Paris, London, and Amsterdam.

His latest album, “Au naturel,” was entirely recorded on magnetic tape, capturing the crystal-clear sound of each acoustic instrument. It pays homage to the shape and harmonic qualities of old-time records. Each song on the album is like an island, with its unique fauna, flora, and atmosphere. Yet, they all explore the themes of light and darkness in human love, covering both happy and somber (sometimes tragic) subjects, all set to rhythmic and danceable tunes.

In summary, ArchiPol composes French ‘chanson’ with a bittersweet twist, offering a distinctive and captivating musical experience.
