Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black: 20th Anniversary

Acclaimed jazz vocalist Cali Rivlin and Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black original touring guitarist Robin Banerjee join forces for an intimate celebration of the iconic album’s 20th anniversary.

Cali Rivlin and Robin Banerjee celebrate 20 years of Back to Black

In 2006, a young singer from Camden released an album that would make music history. Twenty years later, Amy Winehouse’s original Back to Black touring guitarist Robin Banerjee joins powerhouse vocalist Cali Rivlin for an intimate celebration of the record, its extraordinary songs and the remarkable artist behind them.

Backed by pianist Nick Gilmore and trombonist Tarik Mecci, Robin and Cali bring their decade-long musical partnership to Toulouse Lautrec with distinctive acoustic arrangements of Amy’s best-loved music. Expect unforgettable songs including “Back to Black”, “Rehab” and “Valerie”, alongside deeper cuts from Frank and Back to Black.

Having toured the world alongside Amy, Robin offers a rare personal connection to this landmark album. Between songs, he shares affectionate backstage stories and memories of their time together, revealing the warmth, humour and humanity behind one of Britain’s most iconic musical figures.

Cali’s commanding vocals, warmth and irresistible stage presence capture the emotional force of Amy’s music without imitation. Together, the band celebrates her artistry through soulful new interpretations filled with jazz, blues and vintage soul.

The show returns to Toulouse Lautrec following previous sell-out performances. Early booking is strongly recommended.
