The Big Mama Trio is a loyal and almost family-like ensemble, having played together for nearly seven years.

Tom Dring  – Double bass; One of the UK’s finest bassists.  The closest you will get to Ray Brown in the UK. A jazz Bassist that makes you hear him and really listen to the talent a quality bassist brings to high-end jazz. Being able to make the bass talk in the way he can, is a rare talent indeed.

Gwilym Jones – Drums; – An outstanding talent that gets a reaction from an audience very rarely seen. His playing is phenomenal in that he helps the audience understand just how integral a great drummer is to delivering the nuances of a song.

Olly Chalk  – Piano; Olly has talent that just makes you gasp.  It is jaw-dropping.   He has an exquisite touch that is both classical and full of the passion live jazz needs to reach your soul in the right way.  You will be absorbed in a way that can make your inside shake with sheer astonishment.
