Known for her charming delivery of a lyric and impeccable time, ‘2016 Sarah Vaughan Vocal Competition’ finalist, Lauren Bush’s new album Dream Away is out now. Originally from Canada, she has been touring around Europe and the UK over the past nine years. Lauren used lockdown time to hit the studio again and record her second album. The songs were chosen spontaneously with arranger and pianist Liam Dunachie and the result is a mix of lesser known standards and originals written by Lauren and other collaborators, all produced by the UK’s beloved Ian Shaw.

Lauren Bush is a contemporary Canadian jazz vocalist based in London, UK. All About Jazz noted that “Bush is one of the freshest and most exciting vocalists to appear on the scene for some time.” and Downbeat Magazine commented on “her unique phrasing, perfect diction and scatting abilities.”
