Originally from Newcastle, Edgar first started learning piano when he was 10 eventually studying with David Murray and Paul Edis. his musical journey led him to Manchester, where he studied at Chetham’s School of Music with Les Chisnall and Gemma Beeson. After his time there, he continued his studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, guided by Rob Barron, Nikki Iles, and Barry Green.

Regularly playing at venues across London, Edgar performs a wide range of music, from cocktail piano at hotels such as the Marriott County Hall Hotel and The Dilly, weekly jazz gigs the Spice of Life Soho and CLF Art Lounge, to playing keyboards for musical theatre productions. Edgar leads his own piano trio and has worked with various singers along the likes of Emily Masser, Nel Begly and Norma Winstone.
