Born in Italy, raised in Denmark and now living in London, I’ve pretty much been a jazz freak since I was a little girl. An over-the-top and very loud and excitable child that loved to perform, I would coerce my sister into learning songs off Italian furniture adverts (weird, I know) to which I would choreograph Madonna-style dance moves. I would then go on to unleash this performance on my parents unsuspecting dinner guests!

Alongside this DIY-approach followed a more traditional music education that included singing in choirs, the dreaded alto recorder, piano lessons and a short-lived relationship with a violin. My interest and career in songwriting also officially started at the age of 8 when I would tinker on the piano in the living room and make up songs about boys and the family cats.
