Roxy Coss is a Grammy Award-winning musician, composer, bandleader, recording artist, educator, and activist. With her unique saxophone playing, she has become a prominent figure in the music scene. Recognized for her talent, Roxy has won multiple awards and accolades, including the 2022 Downbeat Critics’ Poll “Rising Star” category for Soprano Saxophone.

As the Founder and President of Women In Jazz Organization (WIJO) and Co-Artistic Director of the Brubeck Jazz Summit, Roxy is actively involved in shaping the future of jazz. She is a Jazz Faculty member at The Juilliard School and serves on the Board of Directors for the Jazz Education Network (JEN). Roxy is also an endorsing artist for renowned brands such as P. Mauriat, Vandoren, and Keyleaves.

Roxy has captivated audiences worldwide with her performances, headlining major festivals and performing at prestigious venues. She has released six albums as a bandleader, including her latest work, “Disparate Parts.” Her musical collaborations include esteemed jazz artists, and she is a member of The Diva Jazz Orchestra.

Passionate about jazz education, Roxy shares her expertise through masterclasses and workshops at renowned institutions. She is committed to empowering women in jazz through her involvement with WIJO, striving for equality and inclusivity in the jazz community.

Roxy Coss’s remarkable journey as a musician, composer, and advocate continues to inspire and make a lasting impact on the world of music.
