Join us for Stretch, an electrifying improvised jam night like no other, where boundaries blur and creativity knows no limits. Each show some of the most exciting and innovative musicians in the city come together to create improvised sonic explorations that weave new paths between jazz, breakbeat, hip hop, afrobeat, soul and funk.

Manchester’s nu-jazz fusion outfit, emerging in 2019 with a captivating blend of intricate compositions and electrifying improvisation. Their live shows are a whirlwind of intensity and dynamism, leaving audiences spellbound. Since then, they’ve carved their path in the evolving jazz scene: a self-booked 10-date UK tour in 2023, slots at prestigious festivals like Manchester Jazz and International Festivals, and support gigs for established acts Secret Night Gang and Xhosa Cole. They return to the UK stage in April, with a highlight being their performance alongside Jasmine Myra.
Beyond captivating live shows, NONUNONU are set to unleash their debut studio album, “nunununu,” on August 9th. Building on the success of their “Laundry Day” EP and the live energy captured on “Right + Wrung,””nunununu” promises to showcase the talents of some of the North’s finest jazz musicians. Their first single, “Bim’s Bounce,” offers a smooth taste of the production fans can expect on the full album.
