AnnA

AnnA, a graduate of the esteemed Conservatory of Music “Santa Cecilia” in Rome with a Master’s degree in Jazz Voice, relocated to London in March 2020 to pursue her musical aspirations. With a passion for performance and education, she serves as a fully qualified music teacher while commanding the stage as a band leader and vocalist at renowned venues across London. Her repertoire spans a diverse range of genres, encompassing jazz standards, pop hits, and soulful tunes, delivered in both English and Italian. Additionally, AnnA showcases her original compositions, adding a unique flair to her performances.

Having recently unveiled her third single, “Who am I,” available on all major digital platforms, AnnA is currently immersed in two exciting projects. One project is slated to become her debut EP, while the other sees her collaborating with the talented American trumpet player, AnDré Mali.

AnnA’s musical prowess has been showcased on prestigious platforms, including her captivating performance at the opening night party for The Motive and the Cue by National Theatre and Neal Street Productions in December 2023. Her talent has also been recognized internationally, with her selection to participate in the Berklee Summer School at Umbria Jazz Clinics in Perugia, Italy, during the summer of 2018.

Furthermore, AnnA’s involvement in various musical endeavors highlights her versatility and dedication to her craft. She lent her vocals to the JD Choir in Rome from 2017 to 2020, gracing the stage of the Auditorium Parco della Musica on numerous occasions. Notably, she has contributed her talents to esteemed ensembles such as the New Talent Jazz Orchestra under the baton of Mario Corvini, performing in “Duke Ellington’s Sacred Concert.” Additionally, she showcased her skills as a soloist in the Tribute to Kenny Wheeler with the Stefano Cantarano ensemble and assumed leadership roles within the alto ensemble for Matthew Herbert’s Brexit Big Band, culminating in the recording of the album “Where’s Home.”
