September Songs promises a little something for everyone as this eclectic group of artists present a programme of original songs, jazz classics and show-stopping tunes from the musicals that you won’t want to miss!

After the interval it’s your chance to take the stage as we shine the spotlight on the talents of our audience – bring along your best song and dazzle and crowd! Expect witty lyrics, catchy tunes, and unforgettable performances as September Songs spotlights the talents of Cassiopeia Berkeley-Agyepong (Into The Woods, The Phantom of the Opera, Caroline, or Change); Offie award-winning actor Jack Reitman (Waldo’s Circus of Magic & Terror, Thrill Me, Amour); singer-songwriter Phillippe Cato; and recent graduates Kirsty Hughes (Legacy, Cheltenham Jazz Festival) and Juliette Bull (The House of Worth).

Performers:

Versatile mezzo-soprano CASSIOPEIA BERKELEY-AGYEPONG is a director, writer and performer from Croydon. After training at the University of York and Royal Academy of Music she made her West End debut in Caroline, or Change, and has performed across the UK with Into the Woods and The Phantom of the Opera.

Cassiopeia enjoys an eclectic mix of vocal performance styles ranging from musical theatre, jazz, opera and art song and regularly performs in concerts, cabarets and workshops of new writing. CassiopeiaBA.com

JACK REITMAN trained at the Royal Academy of Music and with the NYMT. He was recipient of the OffWestEnd Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his performance in Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story at the Hope Theatre, with the show transferring to the Jermyn Street Theatre for a critically acclaimed run in 2022. Jack is passionate about new musical theatre, and is also a librettist currently working on a number of original writing projects. @JackReitman

KIRSTY HUGHES studied her undergraduate degree in Music at the University of York and continued her training at The Royal Academy of Music where she studied a Masters in Performance in Musical Theatre. She has performed at Cheltenham Jazz Festival, The 606 Club, The Jazz Café, St Paul’s Cathedral and BBC Maida Vale. She enjoys teaching singing to both children and adults, and making music with three-piece alternative pop band, Ampersand. 

JULIETTE BULL is a British/Dutch singer and actress. She trained at the Fontys School of Performing Arts in the Netherlands, and the Royal Academy of Music. Juliette played the lead role in The House of Worth (workshop) and has been cast in roles for Netflix and ITV. She has recently been focusing on writing monologues, short films and her own music.
