To celebrate His Majesty’s birthday, we’re delivering monarch realness, featuring the amazing ROMAN ACKLEY in his most regal state, and the scintillating ADA CAMPE bringing her legendary Queen Rat to the stage. All hosted by the notorious DUSTY LIMITS. Come celebrate a thousand years of feudal nonsense at our last Dr Sketchy before the summer break.
This isn’t your average life drawing event, this is an experience that combines the energy of Art Attack with the sophistication of cabaret.
And when we say life drawing, we’re not talking the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.
Our philosophy is simple: our sessions are to fine art what karaoke is to singing. Forget perfection: our number rule is that you can’t make a mistake. Our world-class performers will inspire your inner artist.
If you want to draw boring old stills of the Mona Lisa holding a bowl of fruit, this is not for you. You’ll be drawing mesmerising burlesque and cabaret artists while being guided by our Evil Headmaster, award-winning cabaret legend Dusty Limits.
You’ll even get a show from each of our performers so you can whoop and holler to your heart’s content. Expect a diverse range of subjects to depict accurately, or inaccurately, we really don’t care. Prizes are awarded for energy and imagination, not skill.
This is the life drawing class that is anything but a class. Book your spot now and let’s get sketching!
ABOUT DR SKETCHY
Dr Sketchy’s Anti-Art School was founded by world-renowned artist Molly Crabapple in New York in 2005. She had a vision of a new kind of life-drawing class, and it’s now spread around the globe in over 120 locations. It’s the world’s premier alt drawing movement. The London chapter of Dr Sketchy has been around for well over a decade.
