Set across a characterful converted building in Kennington, Toulouse Lautrec brings together the warmth of French dining, the spirit of live music, and the charm of a classic Parisian night out. Whether you are joining us for dinner, drinks, a special celebration, or an unforgettable evening of jazz, our aim is simple: to create a place where good food, great music and genuine hospitality come together.

Inspired by the artistic energy of old Montmartre and named after the iconic French painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, our venue has always been about more than just a meal or a show. It is a place for atmosphere, connection and discovery. A place where guests can enjoy authentic French cuisine downstairs, relax with wine or cocktails, and then head upstairs to experience some of the finest live jazz, soul, blues, Latin and acoustic music in an intimate setting.

Toulouse Lautrec is proudly independent, with a strong belief in supporting live music and the artists who make it possible. Our jazz club has become a home for both established musicians and exciting new talent, offering audiences the chance to experience world-class performances up close.

From swing, bebop and gypsy jazz to bossa nova, funk, soul, blues and contemporary sounds, our programme celebrates the richness of live music in all its forms. We also host regular jam sessions, special tribute nights, album launches, festivals and one-off performances that bring together artists and audiences from across London and beyond.

South London is lucky to have this place. The meal was the best, with a supreme pianist adding to the atmosphere and a cool crowd of diners.
