Robin Nolan Trio

Legendary gypsy jazz guitarist Robin Nolan reimagines George Harrison and The Beatles alongside Django Reinhardt classics, hot swing and dazzling improvisation.

The Music of George Harrison and Django Reinhardt

Legendary gypsy jazz guitarist Robin Nolan brings his internationally acclaimed trio to London for a special evening celebrating the music of George Harrison, The Beatles and Django Reinhardt.

Following the release of his acclaimed album For The Love of George on Dark Horse Records, Nolan presents Harrison’s timeless music through the exhilarating swing, virtuosity and improvisational fire of gypsy jazz.

Recorded at Harrison’s home, Friar Park, with the support of the Harrison family, the album features Nolan performing on three of George Harrison’s own guitars. The project reflects a special personal connection: Harrison was a great admirer of Nolan’s playing and invited him to perform at Friar Park.

For this London concert, the trio will perform music from For The Love of George alongside Django Reinhardt classics, gypsy jazz favourites and original compositions from Nolan’s extensive repertoire.

Expect beloved Harrison and Beatles melodies transformed through impressive improvisation and classic Django swing, performed by three world-class musicians.

“This project began with George’s music, but also with the spirit and feel behind it. That’s what we bring to the stage.” – Robin Nolan
