About The Only Arena

From overcoming a severe childhood stutter to captivating audiences across the globe, The Only Arena is one of Australia’s most compelling vocalists.

Blending soul, jazz, R&B and soft rock, Arena McLellan’s artistry is cinematic, timeless and deeply rooted in emotional storytelling. Classically trained as both a singer and pianist, she later found her artistic home in jazz, performing as lead vocalist and pianist with a 24-piece big band at the Sydney Opera House and other major venues across Australia.

Arena has toured alongside Grammy-nominated Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, who described her as “Australia’s Barbra Streisand”, as well as the UK’s Paper Lace and legendary entertainer Frank Ifield. Her career has also seen her share stages with international figures including Kevin Costner, Elizabeth Hurley and Bruce Buffer.

Recent highlights include reaching the Top 50 on Australian Idol 2024, performing her original neo-soul single So Think Twice on Lifestyle Diaries, currently airing across Apple TV, Hulu and Amazon in the USA, and writing and producing her forthcoming jazz/soul EP, Overqualified, due for release in late 2026.
