Fidelio Hot Club

Fidelio Hot Club stands out as one of the finest and most innovative Gypsy Jazz quartets on the UK scene today. Comprising four highly sought-after London musicians, Ray Rafols (violin), Cornelius Corkery (guitar), Sol Grimshaw (guitar), and Toby Yapp (double bass), the group is deeply rooted in the legendary musical tradition of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli.

However, Fidelio Hot Club is far from an average tribute band playing the old classics in the expected way. While they deliver the authentic, driving “hot club” sound of the 1930s with flawless technique, their true brilliance lies in their daring versatility. Audiences can expect thrilling sets that effortlessly weave traditional Gypsy Jazz and original compositions alongside surprising, genre-bending re-imaginings of works by Dvorak, Tchaikovsky, Astor Piazzolla and even David Bowie.
