Ineza Kerschkamp is a London-based jazz vocalist, composer and rising star on the UK jazz scene, celebrated for her powerful voice, expressive storytelling and natural swing feel. Originally born in Rwanda and raised in Belgium, Ineza brings a rich musical perspective shaped by jazz, neo-soul and contemporary vocal traditions.
A regular performer at Toulouse Lautrec Jazz Club and Piano Room, Ineza has become a familiar favourite with audiences through her elegant interpretations of jazz standards, engaging live performances and beautifully curated tribute nights. Alongside celebrating the great voices and songbooks of jazz history, she is also recognised as an exceptional original artist, blending jazz improvisation with soulful contemporary influences.
Ineza studied Jazz Vocals at both Maastricht Conservatory and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where she refined her distinctive sound and improvisational style. Her performances are known for their emotional depth, smooth scat singing and strong connection to lyricism, creating intimate and captivating live experiences.
As a composer, Ineza explores themes of identity, healing and human connection through music that fuses jazz harmony with neo-soul textures and contemporary songwriting. Her debut EP, Where Are You From, introduced audiences to her deeply personal and expressive approach to composition.
Alongside her solo career, Ineza performs with leading ensembles including the London Vocal Project and Capital Orchestra, continuing to establish herself as one of the most exciting emerging vocalists in London jazz today.
